Oscar grew up on the tree-lined streets of Queens, New York.
Following an apprenticeship in National TV and Radio time sales, he bought an FM radio station in upstate New York. However, his muse had a serious case of wanderlust which took him on a twenty-year journey to California.
Oscar changed professional course and spent the next twenty-five years in finance, but the media bug never left. He wrote and performed over two thousand radio and TV opinion pieces. Oscar eventually ended up as a columnist, The Capitalist Cop, for ETF.com.
Tally Ho is his first foray into fiction.
Oscar Silver resides in Kew Gardens with his wife Joan and Raven the poodle.
